Dr. G V Ramanjaneyulu

Dr G. V. Ramanjaneyulu who is an agricultural scientist , Ph.D in Agricultural Extension from Indian Agricultural Research Institution. Working towards establishing models of agriculture which are local resource and knowledge based and economically and ecologically sustainable. working with small and marginal farmers in the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Sikkim, and Tripura to bring in ecological sustainability in farming and sustain farming based livelihoods. Sahaja Aharam Producer Company is promoted by the CSA as a federation of farmers’ co-operatives directly marketing organic food and seeds through exclusive sahaja aharam retail stores.


Vyjayanti Vasanta Mogli

Vyjayanti Vasanta Mogli is a transgender woman. She has worked with some wall street giants as a Learning & Development professional. Along with other transgender people, she happens to be one of the founding members of the Telangana Hijra Intersex Transgender Samiti, an unregistered and an unfunded collective of hijra and transgender people. Vyjayanti works probono with the hijra and transgender community to have FIRs lodged for atrocities perpetrated on the hijra/transgender community, engages with both the community, the lawyer fraternity and the government to build jurisprudence that decriminalises the livelihoods of the transgender community. Vyjayanti currently researches in the intersections of Law with Public Policy at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in its Hyderabad campus. Vyjayanti is a fellow of the International Visitors Leadership Program of the State Department of the USA.


Chintakindi Mallesham

Born in a weaver’s family, Mallesham is a traditional weaver of Pochampalli silk sarees in Sharjipet. With a strong desire to relieve his mother’s pain, he went to design a machine to mechanize the Asu process. While working at a workshop in Hyderabad, he noticed a machine’s movement and quickly returned home to give the final touch to his Asu machine that brought a revolution for the weavers in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. He named it after his mother, the Laxmi Asu Handloom Machine.

Sri Charan Lakkaraju

Aggression, patience, knowledge, skills, hard work and perseverance, are synonyms with our speaker but, what defines him best are zeal and ever-lasting enthusiasm. Charan had an ordinary childhood with a stereotypical up-bringing. His zeal to make a difference to the world made a difference in his life. Being a teacher’s son one can claim that certain qualities are inherited but at the same time we should also remember it is only certain but not all of them. His constant love for learning new things and experimenting with his skill set opened various avenues for him.


Munipally Snigdha

Snigdha Munipally, bonded with psoriasis at the age of 4. Living with this skin disorder, since childhood and having to do so for the rest of her life, this 22 year old turns to poetry and performance as her coping mechanism. She is a strong supporter of the notion of healing through travel and enjoys going on solo trips. She is also passionate about biking, swimming, photography and doodling at the corners of journals. Dealing with the stigma around mental health and spreading awareness about the same helps her deal with her issues like bullying and a subsequent lack of confidence that plague her childhood. Today, she’s a confident young lady who works at an MNC. She shares her struggles with people in the hopes that maybe one day her story will inspire someone else to overcome the difficulties in their life.
